If it's possible - and it is - the illegal alien crisis just got worse. Title 42, a Trump-era public health restriction, lapsed yesterday at 11:59 p.m. ET.

As a result of this expiration, thousands of illegal immigrants are coming across the southern border overwhelming the already overwhelmed U.S. Border Patrol, especially the rank-and-file, who cannot process all these trespassers. No one knows if the "got aways" are rapists, traffickers, gangbangers, terrorists, or individuals that pose serious health risks. What we do know is that the vast majority of the illegals are male, youthful, and single.
Bill Melugin, a front-lines FOX News LA reporter, tweets, "In coming days we will likely begin to see mass releases of migrants at bus stops, gas stations, supermarkets, etc in communities across the border as illegal crossings continue to surge to record highs."
The Border Patrol Union is describing the current situation a "by far the worst sustained disaster that any BP agent, active or retired, has seen at our border."
While the tragic events at the southern border may seem far away to us denizens of peaceful northern Michigan, they affect all of us. Foreign Agent Joe Biden, and his traitorous minions, are making history by declaring the border open and porous and further jeopardizing the lives of countless innocent Americans by aiding and abetting an invasion.
We are grieved and infuriated. Are you?
I would be aggrieved and infuriated if the millions of illegal crossings had materialized, and/or if Biden had actually declared the border “open”. There’s work to do for sure. Problems are real. But, the border is clearly not “open”.
