Last night ERG attended a meet-and-greet at the Perry Hotel for the four gentleman who have made the cut as finalists for the city manager position. They are: George Korthauer, Anton Graff, Shane Horn, and Patrick Johnson. We asked each one of the candidates, who were all quite personable, one question: What do you think of the defund the police movement? Happily, they were all strongly or very strongly opposed to such anarchy. Today and tomorrow the Petoskey City Council will be holding special sessions regarding these applicants, if you are interested in attending and learning how the process unfolds.
Update: Mr. Shane Horn was unanimously selected by the Mayor and City Council.
