Hoover Runs for U.S. Senate

Republican Michael Hoover, an entrepreneur who worked at Dow Chemical Company, is a lifelong Michigander. He recently announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

He spoke, this past Monday, to the Cheboygan Republicans.

"[We] need to take the country back ... it's been stolen from us," he told the group. Hoover criticized skyrocketing inflation, unfettered government bureaucracy, open borders, never-ending green energy mandates, and involvement in the Ukraine war - all the results of the Biden Administration.

Hoover's "blueprint" for Michigan: Reliable American energy, downsizing the administrative state, protecting parental autonomy, being tough on crime, re-instating secure borders, adhering to constitutional governance, and exposing the Military Industrial Complex.

The candidate has met with national leaders like Rand Paul, J.D. Vance, and Tom Massie.

Hoover faces a tough primary opponent in Mike Rogers who has deep ties to the Deep State and was the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district for several terms.

Also running in the GOP primary are Ezra Scott, Nikki Snyder, Alexandria Taylor, and J.D. Wilson.

Here's his interview with the Washington Examiner.
