Many Michiganders who follow state and national politics are aware of the enormous influence of the DeVos family (who have made their fortune via the complex multilevel marketing model known as Amway) especially that of Betsy DeVos.
The Gateway Pundit just published a piece about how Mrs. DeVos has massively financially benefitted from doing business with the Chinese Communist Party, as well as how DeVos money consistently goes to pro-corporate welfare RINOs vs America First patriots.
Amway, btw, is the short, descriptive moniker for American Way. (Oh, the irony, the irony.)
Sadly, we don't expect Beijing Betsy, who has strong ties to Emmet County, to use her platform to decry the human rights abuses of the CCP. In that respect she joins the cowardly pantheon of American billionaire investors and superstar athletes who remain silent while the CCP imposed draconian COVID-19 lockdowns in Shanghai, commits genocide against the Muslim Uighurs, and allows slave labor in Xinjiang.
