Earlier this week, the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a spirited City Council candidate forum.

All the candidates running for office participated - Nancy Rondel, Maggy Lacy, Jeff James, and Jamie Melke (running for two city council seats), as well as Andy Potter and Matt Bugera (running for mayor).
Topics included the public safety millage, the Redevelopment Ready Communities program, and constituent communications.
Differences of opinion were sometimes stark, but it's clear the candidates are all bullish about Harbor Springs' future.
