We are thrilled to learn that Zach Loesch (pictured), who hails from Emmet County, was congratulated by the White House/Biden for his heroism during Hurricane Ian.
Quote: "President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. spoke today with Lieutenant Commander Christopher Hooper and Aviation Survival Technician Second Class Zach Loesch to personally thank them for the heroic work that they and their Coast Guard colleagues have performed during search and rescue operations in response to Hurricane Ian. The President thanked them for saving lives and asked for a report on the work that continues to rescue Floridians. He also asked if they needed any additional support that he can provide to accelerate successful rescues; they indicated they have gotten what they need to execute their vital mission."
The twist to this inspiring tale is that Zach choose not be vaxxed for religious reasons. As he told Breitbart, he is going to be "fired" due to Biden Administration/U.S. Coast Guard policy.
That's just plain wrong and dumb and dangerous! Zach saved, according to the Daily Mail, a disabled woman and her husband who were trapped in their Florida home. We doubt, as Zach himself notes, that this couple could have cared less what the vigorous young man's vax status is.
And where would they be without his fearless assist? Proud of you, Aviation Survival Technician Second Class Zach Loesch!
