"To help voters in Emmet and Charlevoix Counties learn more about the candidates prior to the November 8th election, the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with North Central Michigan College, are proud to present a candidate forum as part of their mission to inform and educate businesses and the community.
The forum and meet and greet event will be held Monday, September 26th, 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Iron Horse Café at North Central Michigan College in Petoskey.
The meet and greet will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend. The event will also be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person. Click here for more information."
Candidates for the the 37th State Senate race and the 107th State House race will participate in a moderated forum. County Commission candidates will participate, only, in the meet and greet.
FYI: Neil Friske's opponent thinks that "embryos and fetuses," as she puts it, "are not babies."
John Damoose's opponent says she will "consider" red flag laws.
