Information about the upcoming board meeting (above and below), if you'd like to attend to make a public comment or to learn about the board. Note: Local media has been reporting about the controversies the director of the library has been generating and some of the taxpayer response to it.
Library Board meetings are held monthly on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5 p.m in the lower level classroom in the Main Library at 500 E. Mitchell St. The Library Board is made up of five residents of the City of Petoskey appointed by the Mayor (currently John Murphy). The Board is responsible to hire the director, create policies, and oversee the budget. Members serve without compensation. (231) 758-3100 firstname.lastname@example.org
