Small business owner Neil Friske, who won the MI State House 107th GOP primary, hosted a classy event at Vernales restaurant in Harbor Springs for his team this past weekend. Team Friske was comprised of volunteers from Chippewa, Emmet, Charlevoix, and Mackinac counties.
No paid staff, no dark money, no special interests, no DeVos influence. A true 'We the People' campaign.
Anyhoo, about 50-60 folks were treated to a delicious three-course meal and lively conversation. Note: Five-star service by the Vernales' staff!
One volunteer/attendee - Mike Farage - drove all the way from Kent County and brought Neil the Gibbs t-shirt. (Mr. Gibbs beat Rep. Peter Meijer in the primary.)
As they say, a good time was had by all. Now on to November.
