From the Emmet County Clerk's Office: The Board of County Canvassers will be meeting at 9:00 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Charlevoix Township Hall, 12491 Waller Rd. Charlevoix for the purpose of conducting a recount of the votes cast at the November 8, 2022 general election for Proposal 2022-3.
The four jurisdictions in Emmet that will figure in the recount: Bear Creek Township Precinct 1, Little Traverse Township, Petoskey City, and West Traverse Township.
The public is welcome to come and observe the proceedings. There is no recount for Proposal 2 for Emmet.
