Johnson Airing Super Bowl LVII Ads

Perry Johnson, 75, the very wealthy entrepreneur and so-called quality guru, seems to be keen on running for president as a Republican. He joins Donald Trump and Nikki Haley who have also announced they are contenders in the 2024 race.

According to the Des Moines Register, "A Michigan businessman who briefly ran for governor there in 2022 will be on Iowa's airwaves Sunday with a Super Bowl ad announcing he is taking steps to run for president.

In a news release, Perry Johnson said he will air $192,000 worth of TV ads in the Des Moines, Sioux City, Cedar Falls and Quad Cities media markets during Sunday's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. He said he has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to form a committee to run for president."

Perry is focused on economic issues: "My message is very simple: every penny the Federal Government is borrowing is making it harder and more expensive for us to live."

Although his campaign for Michigan governor was felled by fake signatures, his initial ad, which also aired during a Super Bowl, was catchy. See here. Information about his book.
