It's a Sign!

A word to political candidates and their supporters: Please be informed before placing outdoor yard signs.

Here's the City of Petoskey's sign ordinance.

Here's the state of Michigan's yard signage regulations.

Note: If a candidate has lots of signs on public spaces, it could mean that he/she has garnered little support among private-property homeowners. It could also mean that the candidate is too lazy to consistently engage voters.

In any case, yard signs remain a true-and-tested way to "advertise." And if your yard sign is stolen, do contact public safety.
