Hybrid Education Comes of Age
Ben DeGrow, who is the education guru for the Mackinaw Center for Public Policy of Midland, has written an interesting blog post about the HighPoint Hybrid Academy.
A student enrolled at the Academy can attend class twice a week and work from home the other three days. This seems to be a nice fit for families who aren't completely ready or able to go on the 'solo' homeschool journey, but also find the five-day-week model too family-unfriendly.
Writes Ben, "The five years of the academy’s operation have brought tremendous growth, spurred on recently by demand from students and parents who endured widespread COVID schooling frustrations."
