Do you know about the Harbor Springs Health Behavior Survey which features busybody, inappropriate questions for 12, 13, and 14-year-olds?
ERG was sent the ten-page survey by a concerned citizen. The survey originated with the Ram Wellness Center. According to their website, the "school-based behavioral health program is operated by the Health Department of Northwest Michigan in collaboration with Harbor Springs Public Schools."
Oh, our reliably controversial Health Department. First, the mindfulness curriculum, now this.
The last page of the survey (pictured) posits tasteless queries to 7th and 8th graders about these minors' "sexual behavior."
Consider attending the next Harbor Springs School Board of Education and/or the Emmet County Board of Commissioners meetings, and ask the elected officials if they think this survey is appropriate; what employee authored the survey; are parents and guardians aware of the survey; and why are tax dollars being spent on this exercise in grooming?
