The Emmet County Board of Commissioner's agenda packets are now less "dull" due to the inclusion of fanciful photos from the Headlands.
While ERG strongly believes that the Dark Sky Park is a waste of taxpayer money and that it's not the proper role of government to be in the business of administrating such an expensive park, we can't deny that tracking the activities in the heavens via photography - and sharing the results with the public - is a nice (dreamy?) addition to the agenda.
The photos are featured in the "Administrator's Report," if you want to see more.
These two, of the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis, are in the March 16 packet.
