Blah, Blah, Blah: Petoskey School Board Candidates

We link to an article in the Petoskey News-Review about the five candidates running for Petoskey School Board, as ERG leadership has been asked by voters to offer their opinion as to which of the three candidates to vote for.

Based on the article, which featured convoluted answers to some so-so questions, we note that only one candidate (Melanie Meengs) briefly mentioned academics in a meaningful way.

Other than that no candidate emerged as a having a clear platform for "responsible government" and/or for conservative values. Unlike Tom Varner who is running for the Harbor Springs school board.

Bottom line: Not much to distinguish between the five Petoskey candidates.
